Used to identify hazardous trees and tree parts in order rate the level of risk compared to certain targets in the event of failures. Risk assessments can be used to identify appropriate mitigation and can be used in litigation. three levels are available:

Level 1 - Quick overview of many trees to identify individual trees posing hazards to specific targets

Level 2 - A more in-depth assessment of an individual tree to rate the risk of the individual tree or tree parts to specific targets as well as options to mitigate the risk.

level 3- Extensive assessment of an individual tree using specialized tools. can include but not limited to root excavation, canopy inspection and sonic Tomography.
